Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use gonewgames.com ("GoNewGames", "GNG", "we", "us"). We have tried to keep them short and readable. By using the website you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. What GoNewGames is

GoNewGames is a free website that helps you find video games: new releases, upcoming titles, Early Access games, pre-orders and current discounts. We gather public information about games and store prices, show it in one place, and point you to the store when you want to buy.

We are not a store. We do not sell games, keys, gift cards or any other product, we do not take payments, and we never see your card or store account details. When you press a button such as "Buy now" you leave GoNewGames, and anything you buy is a contract between you and that store, under its own terms, prices and refund rules. We are not a party to it.

2. Where the information comes from

Game details such as titles, descriptions, genres, screenshots, release dates and ratings come from public databases and store pages, including RAWG and the Steam store. Prices come from the stores themselves. We check new releases about once every 24 hours and special offers about once an hour, so a price can change between two checks.

Cover art, screenshots, names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the games. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation. GoNewGames is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, or by any publisher or store, unless a specific page says otherwise.

3. Prices, dates and other details are a guide

What you see on GNG is meant to orient you, not to be the final word. Prices are shown in the currency you choose and can differ from what a store charges you, for example because of your country, local tax or a regional offer. Release dates move, discounts end and games get withdrawn. Early Access titles are unfinished and may change a lot, or never reach a full release. "Pre-order" means the store lets you buy before launch, not that the date is guaranteed.

Before you pay, check the final price, edition, platform and system requirements on the store's own page. If you spot a mistake on GNG, tell us and we will fix it.

4. Links, affiliate links and advertising

Some links on GNG are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, a store or its affiliate network may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. Commercial links and placements carry an "AD" or "Sponsored" label, and our How we make money page explains how this works. We do not add a markup to prices.

We do not control the stores and other websites we link to, and we are not responsible for their content, prices, availability or data practices.

5. Your account

You can browse GNG without an account. An account lets you save favorites and a wishlist. You sign in through Google, Discord or Twitch, and we never see or store a password. Other sign-in methods may be added later.

• You need to be at least 16 to create an account, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
• Keep your sign-in secure with the provider you use. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person, please.
• Your favorites and wishlist are private. We do not show them to other users. Each list holds up to 500 games.
• You can delete your account at any time on the My account page. That permanently removes the account, your favorites and your wishlist.

6. Using the site

Please do not:

• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect data from the site at a scale or speed that burdens it, or to copy the catalogue in order to run a competing site (normal search engine crawling that follows robots.txt is fine, and if you would like to use our data, ask us first);
• try to break, overload or probe the security of the site, or reach other people's accounts or data;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or abuse a promotion or referral mechanism.

7. Suspension and ending the agreement

The agreement for using GNG's free services ends when you delete your account or stop using the site. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for abuse that harms the site or other people, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable we will first tell you why and let you respond; for serious abuse we may act immediately.

We may also change, pause or discontinue a feature or the whole site. If that affects account holders we will give at least 14 days' notice on the site or by email, unless a legal or security reason prevents it.

8. Intellectual property and notices from rights holders

The GoNewGames name, logo and design, and the way we select and present the catalogue, belong to us. You may use the site for your own purposes but may not copy or republish it in bulk.

If you are a publisher, developer or other rights holder and think something on GNG infringes your rights or should not appear, write to gonewgames.contact@gmail.com. Please include the link to the page, what you want changed or removed, and how we can confirm that you represent the rights. We review such notices promptly and correct or remove content where that is appropriate. The same address is our point of contact for users and authorities, in English or Polish.

9. Availability and responsibility

We run GoNewGames on a best-effort basis. We do not promise that it will always be available, complete or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from relying on a price, date or description shown on the site, from a purchase made on a third-party store, or from the site being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intentional harm and for injury to life or health, or any rights you have as a consumer.

10. Complaints

If something is wrong with how we run the service (the site does not work, your account was closed, you think we handled your data badly), write to gonewgames.contact@gmail.com with "Complaint" in the subject. Tell us your name or account email, what went wrong and what you would like us to do. We answer within 14 days. If we need more information we will ask, and the clock stops until you reply.

Questions about an order, a refund or a payment belong with the store, because we have no access to your orders. As a consumer you may also turn to the consumer ombudsman of your county or city or to the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa), or take a claim to the competent court. You do not have to use our complaints procedure first.

11. What you need to use the site

GNG is a free electronic service provided under the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means. To use it you need a device with a current web browser, an internet connection and JavaScript turned on. Logging in also requires that your browser allows storage for our site. Please do not send us unlawful content.

12. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data, and what your browser stores, is described in our Privacy Policy. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

13. Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the site changes, and the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects account holders (for example a new fee or a new use of your data) we will tell you at least 14 days before it takes effect, on the site or by email, and you can delete your account if you disagree. Using the site after that date means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of that country. Disputes are decided by the courts that have jurisdiction under the applicable law. If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest remains in force.
